Originally trained as an Engineer, Brian founded, grew and sold two highly profitable businesses, gaining broad management, marketing and coaching skills along the way.

Brian’s was the Architect, Managing Director and Co-founder of DeeZee. DeeZee Ltd provided dial-in security management software used by Internet Service Providers. DeeZee was sold to CISCO Systems Inc. netting a 46x return on investment in two years.

Brian was the Founder, Architect and Managing Director of Gordano Ltd from 1994 through to an MBO netting a 217x return on investment. Gordano scored many firsts: first messaging server for Microsoft’s Windows NT platform; first “try-before-buy” commercial software; first product managed by web-console; first to include text messaging and anti-spam & anti-virus options. GMS (formerly NTMail) has been purchased by over 20,000 companies in over 120 countries around the world including Fuiji Film, University of Toronto, IBM, TieRack, Marks & Spencer, Oxfam, Dolby, NASA Space Goddard Center, US Army, Cable & Wireless, NTL and Barclays Bank.

After leaving Gordano, Brian managed joined SWAIN as a Regional Manager resulting in equity investment into 11 companies in two years. The total invested was £4,900K of which £727K was by local Business Angels.

Currently Brian provides a wide range of services from coaching, mentoring, business modelling (financial, process & operations), execution, reviewing finance options, and goal setting for teams/executives of companies.
